Kate Douglas has been a features editor at ·ï»Ë²ÊƱ for three decades. Her beat covers many areas of biology, from evolution and ecology to psychology, animal behaviour and archaeology. Before ·ï»Ë²ÊƱ, she worked at the Turkish Times newspaper in Istanbul and at the Royal Society, London, where she helped launch a popular science magazine called Science and Public Affairs. In 2006, she was rapporteur for the European Commission expert group exploring “What it means to be human”.
